Help Us Feed Folks In Need

With the holiday season upon us, many people in our local communities are finding themselves having to choose between gifts, food, utility payments, rent, and other ever-increasing bills, we want to help lessen the burden on folks.

We are accepting financial donations to sponsor meat that will be given to local charities and directly to people who need it. Our current recipients for a donation of meat are as follows:

  • Striking Kellogg’s Workers at the Battle Creek Plant
    • We will be making this donation as we are able. Our process for this will just be to show up with a cooler full of meats and share it equally amongst those who are on the picket line. We will also be taking requests for additional donations from those who need it most.

We have received one request for meat to be given to a local family.

If you would like to have meat donated directly to an individual or family, please contact us and give us their contact information and why they are in need. We don’t need a novel, we just want to make sure we are able to help as many folks who really need it.

We will be donating pork, chicken, turkey, and lamb. We will be donating the most cost effective cuts so as to stretch the donation as much as possible.

WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING DONATIONS. With your help, we raised just over $700 to feed folks in need! Thank you

  1. This is a wonderful thing to do! If you are looking for an organization to do distribution, Dungytreei Heritage Foundation gives emergency food assistance to those in need in Jackson, plus does a monthly drive-up food distribution on the third Saturday of each month in the parking lot of Oasis of Love Full Gospel Church, 800 S. Cooper St, Jackson. We would be very pleased to partner with you getting this food into the homes of Jackson’s low income families.
